Irving remodeling and repair for homeowners

Kitchens, bathrooms, drywall, paint, finish carpentry and roofing repair, scoped on site and priced line by line. This site explains how each job works, so you can plan before you call.

What this site covers

Irving Remodel is a plain-language guide to home remodeling and repair in Irving, Texas, and the suburbs around it. It is run by Fidel Miranda General Contractor, LLC, a general contractor based in Irving. The pages below explain scope, sequence, permits and cost drivers for the jobs homeowners ask about most.

The work we take on in a house includes:

  • Kitchen remodels, from a cabinet and counter refresh to a full gut and rebuild.
  • Bathroom remodels, including tile, vanities, tubs and showers.
  • Drywall repair, texture matching and interior or exterior painting.
  • Finish carpentry: trim, doors, built-ins and repairs to rotted wood.
  • Roofing repair for leaks, storm damage and worn flashing.

Some remodels touch plumbing, electrical or HVAC. We do not claim that work as our own. When a scope needs it, separately licensed tradespeople are brought in for that portion, and the bid shows it as its own line so you can see what it costs.

How the inspection and the bid work

Most owners want to know what happens between the first phone call and the first day of work. Here is the path.

  1. 1

You call or request a bid

Tell us what is wrong or what you want changed. Photos help. A short call is enough to book the visit.

  2. 2

We inspect, usually within 24 to 48 hours

Someone walks the house with you, measures, photographs and asks what you plan to keep. Nothing is priced from a guess.

  3. 3

    You receive an itemized bid

The bid lists the work in separate lines: demolition, materials, labor, permits where they apply, and cleanup. Allowances are marked as allowances.

  4. 4

You decide, and the schedule is set

Questions are welcome. Changes to the scope are written down before they are built, with the price and the schedule effect.

An itemized bid is easier to compare, easier to adjust and harder to misread. If you already hold another quote, our remodel cost guide shows how to line the two up.

Where we work

Our home base is Irving. We work across the city, including Las Colinas and Valley Ranch, and in nearby Dallas–Fort Worth suburbs. Houses here range from newer subdivisions to older homes with original wiring, plumbing and paint. Age changes the plan, so we ask when the house was built at the first visit.

Fidel Miranda's construction experience in Dallas–Fort Worth goes back to 2005. This site does not list awards or ratings. It describes how we work and lets you judge the bid. Certificate of insurance available on request. Se habla español.
